SurDUG is off on Summer Vacation
We're taking the summer off - July 14 and August 11th meetups are cancelled so you can enjoy the outdoors! We will be joining the Vancouver Drupal meetup August 25th for a joint BBQ at the Jibe in Gastown. Details will be announced soon.
We will start up again on September 8th with a speaker on Drupal and the Mobile Web.

Surrey Drupal meetup committee needs new volunteers
A big thank you to Ryan Dempsey, Andrew Tuline for being on the planning committee for the past year. Ryan and his family are moving to Australia in August. Andrew is not able to attend the meetups due to other commitments.
Katy is very busy with her freelance Drupal contracting business and is not able to continue as Lead organizer and planner for the meetup.
We are looking for the following:
- 3 people to take turns chairing the meeting - get some good public speaking experience by opening and closing the meeting and doing short speaker intros
- 2 people to take turns greeting newcomers and to be on hand to answer newbie Drupal questions
- 2 people to take turns setting up the projector and taking it down again.
- 1 tech person to bug ABC restaurant to please get their Wifi fixed so we can use it at our meetups. The manager does not believe there is a problem so please send in your reports of your experiences with the Wifi at the ABC restaurant
- 2 people to help with finding speakers, organizing the meetups, sending out 2 messages to the group each month
